Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has admitted that he cannot wait to experience the atmosphere at Anfield on a European night.
The Reds will return to the Champions League for the first time in five years tonight when they host Ludogorets Razgrad in Group B.
When asked if he knew what to expect at Anfield, Sakho told Liverpool's official website: "I've heard it on the television.
"I was very young at the time, I was still learning, but I know the atmosphere is very special when there is a Champions League match at Anfield.
"Many players say this is the stadium with the best crowd in the world, and it's true when you step into an arena like Anfield, it's something special."
Liverpool will also face Real Madrid and Basel in their group.
