Martin Skrtel has rallied his Liverpool teammates to replicate their spirited performance in Tuesday's 1-0 defeat away to Real Madrid in their remaining Champions League outings.
Karim Benzema struck the only goal of the game as the reigning European champions laboured to victory over a much-changed Reds side to earn their last-16 place.
The defeat leaves Brendan Rodgers's side third in Group B, three points behind second-placed Basel and level with Ludogorets Razgrad in fourth.
"It is just a shame about the result. You could see it was not a disaster," he told UEFA.com.
"We played well and unfortunately we couldn't get a point, but if we play like this in the next games we can get points and qualify from the group."
The Merseysiders travel to Bulgaria in two weeks to face Ludogorets in the penultimate game of the group stage.
