Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he will field his first-team stars for tomorrow's Europa League clash against Zenit St Petersburg.
The Merseyside outfit, who travel to Russia for the two-legged knockout tie, have been known to launch their young talent into the limelight in Europe, but Rodgers has suggested that the likes of Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard will feature.
"I want to go in as strong as we can," Rodgers told the club's official website. "I think we're on the down slope now, we've only got 12 games in the league and hopefully we can progress in the Europa League. We'll be looking to go strong."
The Reds, who have slipped in their campaign for Champions League qualification, currently sit ninth in the Premier League table.
