Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has insisted that he "would like to do well" in the Europa League this season.
The Reds currently sit third in Group A after securing three points from their opening two games, but Rodgers has insisted that he is taking the competition seriously.
"It is a real good competition. There are some wonderful teams and we want to progress through the competition. It is one that I would like to do well in," he told Channel 5's Being: Liverpool.
Liverpool continue their campaign against Anzhi Makhachkala on October 25.
