Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has heaped praise on his side following their elimination from the Europa League against Zenit St Petersburg on Thursday.
The Reds ran out 3-1 winners on the night at Anfield in the second leg of their last-32 tie, but a 3-3 draw on aggregate saw Zenit progress on the away goals rule.
"I thought we were incredible," Rodgers told BBC Sport. "I think we showed our quality.
"We lost the battle but we won the war in terms of going forward."
Liverpool return to action on March 2 when they travel to Wigan Athletic in the Premier League.
