Liverpool striker Luis Suarez will face no punishment from UEFA following an incident during last week's Europa League tie against Russian side Zenit St Petersburg.
The Uruguayan international stepped on the back of Zenit defender Tom Hubocan towards the end of the match at Anfield, which had resulted in some claiming that it was a deliberate stamp.
However, in a short statement, the governing body confirmed that the "disciplinary unit has decided not to open a case" against the 26-year-old.
Liverpool won the match 3-1, but exited the competition on the away goals rule.
