Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Samed Yesil will play a part of the club's Europa League campaign.
The 18-year-old has yet to feature for the Reds since joining from Bayer Leverkusen earlier this summer.
However, having been impressed by the German during a recent youth international match, Rodgers has admitted that he is ready to give the winger the chance to shine in the senior side.
"Yesil will certainly be fast-tracked," the manager told the Liverpool Echo. "He will be involved in the Europa League game. I watched him play against England Under-19s during the international break and he scored two terrific goals and set up another.
"There is nothing better than when you see a young kid come through. There will be that chance for Yesil and one or two other boys over this period of months now."
Yesil is believed to have cost Liverpool £1m.
