Jurgen Klopp: "Nothing to criticise" for Liverpool against West Ham United

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says that he has "nothing to criticise" from his side's performance in their goalless FA Cup draw at home to West Ham United.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that there is "nothing" for him to criticise about his team following their goalless draw with West Ham United this evening.

The Reds added another fixture to their packed schedule by being held by the Hammers in the fourth round of the FA Cup, despite creating the majority of the chances at Anfield.

However, having made 10 changes to the side that was taken all the way to penalties by Stoke City on Tuesday, Klopp insists that he was "pleased" with the performance of his whole team.

"The players defended well, they played brave football and had good structure. We could not let the other guys run again after the Stoke game so it was good. At the end it was a draw and so we will try again," Klopp told BT Sport.

"We had a few set plays that were not too bad. We had our chances, you need that bit of luck but there was nothing to criticise. We go again. We had the bigger chances but now we have to play again. West Ham have good quality in their team and play well in the league. We tried everything, you need a bit of luck.

"I was pleased with the whole team. Steven Caulker played for the first time in his position in defence and did well but I cannot fault anyone, they tried and gave all. We played much better than we did at West Ham, but we didn't score so it is not over."

Liverpool will now play at least seven games in February having turned out nine times in January as well.
