Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Trent Alexander-Arnold is set for weeks on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.

The right-back has amassed two goals and 11 assists from 26 games in the top flight this season and was called up to the England squad for March's friendlies.

However, Klopp has now admitted that he will have to do without the 23-year-old for a while, with the defender picking up a hamstring problem following the 2-0 win over Arsenal

"Trent is out with a hamstring injury, he cannot be part of England as well. No good news, we will see how long that takes," Klopp told reporters at his pre-match press conference.

When asked if Alexander-Arnold's issue could keep him out for a number of weeks, Klopp simply responded "Yeah".

Kostas Tsimikas and James Milner also missed the Emirates victory due to illness and remain uncertain for the FA Cup quarter-final with Nottingham Forest on Sunday evening. body check tags ::
