Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Crystal Palace

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Sports Mole

Buoyed by reaching their first domestic cup final of the season, Liverpool will seek to keep the momentum going during Sunday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Despite being held to a goalless stalemate by the Gunners in the first leg of the EFL Cup semi-finals, Diogo Jota's brace at the Emirates on Thursday saw the Reds set up a showdown with Chelsea in February's final.

Jurgen Klopp's side also eased past Brentford 3-0 in their most recent Premier League battle and have a game in hand on leaders Manchester City, but an 11-point chasm still separates the two title hopefuls.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Eagles.

Nat Phillips

Status: Out
Type of injury: Cheekbone
Possible return date: February 6 (vs. Cardiff City)

Nat Phillips continues to recover from the cheekbone fracture that he sustained against AC Milan in the Champions League and should be ready for his comeback following the international break.

Harvey Elliott

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: February 6 (vs. Cardiff City)

Harvey Elliott has made magnificent strides in his recovery from a serious ankle problem and is now back in full training with the Reds, although he still needs time to build up his match fitness.

Divock Origi

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: February 10 (vs. Leicester City)

Divock Origi is back outside running as he endeavours to shake off a troublesome knee issue, but the trip to Palace will likely come too soon for the Belgium international.

Thiago Alcantara

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: February 6 (vs. Cardiff City)

Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders has ruled out the prospect of Thiago recovering from his hip problem in time for Sunday, but he could be ready to face Cardiff in the FA Cup after the international period.

Mohamed Salah

Status: Out
Type of injury: Africa Cup of Nations
Possible return date: Unknown

Mohamed Salah remains absent while Egypt continue to progress at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Sadio Mane

Status: Out
Type of injury: Africa Cup of Nations
Possible return date: Unknown

Sadio Mane remains absent while Senegal continue to progress at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Naby Keita

Status: Out
Type of injury: Africa Cup of Nations
Possible return date: Unknown

Naby Keita remains absent while Guinea continue to progress at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: January 23 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain rolled his ankle in last weekend's win over Brentford and missed out on a reunion with his former club in midweek, but he is in with a strong chance of returning here.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this game.
