Seeking to snap a three-game winless run on the road, Liverpool head to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

The Reds made it 11 wins from 11 home games this season in incredible fashion at the weekend, defeating Fulham 4-3 thanks to a Bernd Leno own goal and three stunning strikes from Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

With Manchester City being held to a draw by Tottenham Hotspur later in the day, Liverpool enter the midweek round of matches occupying second place in the table, two points worse off than leaders Arsenal.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with the Blades, who were embarrassed 5-0 by Burnley last time out.

Joel Matip

Status: Out
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: Unknown

Joel Matip was given the nod to start alongside Virgil van Dijk in the beating of Fulham, but the Cameroonian centre-back was forced off with an unspecified issue in the second half, and Klopp has conceded that he faces a while on the sidelines.

Alisson Becker

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: December 14 (vs. Union SG)

Liverpool sorely missed the presence of Alisson Becker in goal against Fulham, and the Reds will have to cope without their number one again this week as he battles back from a thigh issue.

Diogo Jota

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscular
Possible return date: Unknown

Diogo Jota also sustained a muscular injury in the Reds' recent stalemate with Man City, and the Portuguese's issue is more severe than Alisson's, meaning that he may not be seen again until 2024.

Andrew Robertson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Shoulder
Possible return date: January 1 (vs. Newcastle United)

One player who will definitely not be seen again until 2024 is Andrew Robertson, who dislocated his shoulder while playing for Scotland in October and is on the long road back from surgery.

Thiago Alcantara

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: January 1 (vs. Newcastle United)

Thiago Alcantara has spent eight months in the infirmary with a severe hip issue, and having also suffered a couple of setbacks, the Spaniard will not be returning for at least another few weeks.

Stefan Bajcetic

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Teenage midfielder Stefan Bajcetic made his comeback from an adductor injury before sustaining a calf issue related to his growing body, and it is unclear when the Spaniard will be available for selection again.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this match.
