Liverpool will be looking to go into the mid-season break on a 16-match winning streak when they welcome in-form Southampton to Anfield on Saturday afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp's side extended their lead at the top of the table to 19 points with a 2-0 win over West Ham United on Wednesday night, stretching their unfathomable form to make it 97 points won from the last 99 available in the top flight.
The Reds are unbeaten in their last 52 home league games, including victories in each of the last 19, but they will be wary of a Southampton side that is the Premier League's next most in-form team.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.
Sadio Mane
Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Norwich City)
Sadio Mane will not feature this weekend having missed Wednesday's match with the hamstring injury he sustained against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The winger is now set to return after the winter break.
Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Norwich City)
Xherdan Shaqiri has struggled with calf injuries throughout the campaign and has once again been ruled out of this match. The Swiss playmaker is not far away from a return to fitness, but like Mane will be held back until after the winter break rather than taking any risks.
Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Norwich City)
The visit of Southampton also comes just too soon for James Milner, who will be back after the winter break following a muscle problem.
Adam Lallana
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Southampton)
Adam Lallana is suffering from a viral infection which has now seen him miss the last three games, but Klopp revealed that he "trained as normal" this week and therefore should be in contention to face Southampton.
Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: February 1 (vs. Southampton)
Klopp was quick to play down concerns over the cause of Divock Origi's 69th-minute withdrawal against West Ham on Wednesday, insisting that it was only cramp and suggesting that the Belgian forward should be fit to feature this weekend. Origi has not yet returned to training, but he is expected back in time to be in contention this weekend.
Nathaniel Clyne
Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown
Nathaniel Clyne remains Liverpool's main long-term absentee having been sidelined since July with a serious knee injury. Yet to feature this season, the full-back still does not have a return date.
