Adam Lallana has suggested that he has not suffered a damaging injury blow, despite hobbling off the pitch 27 minutes into England's friendly with Spain.
The Liverpool midfielder scored his second England goal in as many games when he struck from the penalty spot in the Three Lions' 2-2 draw with Spain at Wembley on Tuesday night.
A few minutes later, though, he suffered a knock to his leg and headed down the tunnel for treatment after being replaced by Theo Walcott on the pitch.
The scenes would have concerned Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp ahead of Saturday's trip to Lallana's former club Southampton, but the player appeared relaxed after the England game and gave journalists thumbs up in the mixed zone.
The 28-year-old, who has scored three goals in all competitions for the Reds so far this season, is expected to be assessed by Liverpool's medics when he returns to Melwood this week.
