Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has claimed that he did not feel any negative effects after 'testing' his fitness in Thursday's Europa League match against Sion.
The midfielder made his first start under new manager Jurgen Klopp after recovering from a broken bone in his foot.
Henderson played 77 minutes in Liverpool's goalless draw in Switzerland, which was enough to top their group ahead of the round-of-16 stage.
"It was nice to play 75 minutes," Henderson told the Liverpool Echo. "It was a tough game in tough conditions, but we're top of the group and we move forward.
"[My fitness] was tested on that pitch and I had no problem. Hopefully I've just got to keep managing it - it's been fine so far."
Henderson could feature in Sunday's Premier League match against West Bromwich Albion at Anfield.
