Liverpool are reportedly planning to get a second opinion on Philippe Coutinho's hamstring injury after the Brazilian underwent medical checks on Monday.
The playmaker suffered the problem during Saturday's 4-1 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
According to The Mirror, the Merseyside club are yet to create a treatment plan as they want Coutinho's injury to be looked at again to learn the extent of the problem, indicating that the 23-year-old could face a spell on the sidelines.
It is believed that Coutinho will miss Thursday's Europa League game against Bordeaux, but is it unclear if he will be absent from Sunday's match against Swansea City at Anfield.
