Jordan Henderson is expected to be in contention for Liverpool's meeting with Swansea City on Monday night after returning to training.
The England international has been out since December 22 with a hamstring injury sustained in the 3-3 draw with Arsenal.
Henderson had been used 16 times in the Premier League by Jurgen Klopp prior to picking up his latest complaint, but the Reds won all four games - as well as an FA Cup tie against Merseyside rivals Everton - in his absence.
Liverpool have today confirmed that the 27-year-old took part in Thursday's training session at Melwood, however, and is now expected to travel to South Wales for next week's clash.
Club-record signing Virgil van Dijk is also in line to be included in Liverpool's squad after shaking off a minor hamstring problem.
