Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic has been ruled out of his side's International Champions Cup match against AC Milan on Saturday.
The 20-year-old clashed heads with Bertrand Traore during the friendly defeat to Chelsea earlier this week and was rushed to hospital as a result.
The summer arrival received the all-clear after scans, but he is still under close supervision and will play no part against Milan in California.
Grujic, who scored two goals in his first two starts for Liverpool, is expected to return to the club's training base in Palo Alto, although it remains unclear whether he will play again during pre-season.
The Reds will begin the new Premier League campaign away to Arsenal on Sunday, August 14.
