Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Daniel Sturridge will not be part of the squad for Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round clash against Bolton Wanderers.
The England international, who has not played since September, has been back in training for the past week or so and is building up his fitness.
However, the visit of Championship side Bolton is too soon for the striker, who has been struggling with calf and thigh problems.
In this afternoon's press conference, when asked about Sturridge's availability, Rodgers said: "We're still waiting on working on him, he's not available at the weekend."
Sturridge has one goal to his name this season.
