Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is seemingly facing a period on the sidelines, with the England international picking up a suspected knee injury against Roma on Tuesday night.
Oxlade-Chamberlain suffered the injury in the early stages of the Champions League semi-final first leg, with Georginio Wijnaldum introduced as his replacement.
The 24-year-old was able to hobble to the side of the pitch, but a stretcher took the former Arsenal midfielder down the tunnel in the 23rd minute of the contest.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been in impressive form for Liverpool in recent weeks, and has managed two goals in his seven Champions League appearances for the Reds this term.
Liverpool will host Stoke City in the Premier League this weekend before travelling to Roma for the second leg next week.
