Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has claimed that Liverpool will focus on their own game when facing Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.
In last week's first game at Anfield, Liverpool scored three goals during the opening 45 minutes to establish an advantage ahead of Tuesday's clash at the Etihad Stadium.
However, Wijnaldum - who could replace the suspended Jordan Henderson - has insisted that the Merseyside giants will not focus on attempting to defend their lead in the North-West.
The 27-year-old is quoted by The Telegraph as saying: "We are not going to sit back. We are going to play our game.
"We know how strong they are, especially when they play at home but they have to think about us too and where we are strong."
Wijnaldum has featured in eight of Liverpool's 11 fixtures in the Champions League this season.
