Liverpool midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will reportedly not return to action until the latter stages of 2018.
The 24-year-old will miss the Champions League final and 2018 World Cup after suffering a serious knee injury in Liverpool's European Cup semi-final first-leg win over Roma at Anfield.
Last week, Oxlade-Chamberlain confirmed that he had undergone successful knee surgery, and was reportedly targeting a return towards the start of the 2018-19 campaign.
However, according to Goal.com, the England midfielder is facing being out of action until November due to the timeframe of recovery on the specific knee operation that took place.
Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Liverpool from Arsenal in last summer's transfer window.
