Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is close to a return from injury, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.
Sturridge has been out of action since Liverpool's 3-0 win away at Tottenham Hotspur in August due to thigh and hamstring strains, but Rodgers thinks that he could play against Chelsea in the second leg of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday.
He told BT Sport: "He's done all his rehab he's at a really good level of fitness. He'll only have a couple of days, we'll see how he is for Chelsea. He'll be ready for West Ham - whether he starts or not."
Sturridge, who joined Liverpool from Chelsea in 2013, scored 21 Premier League goals last season, while current Reds forwards Rickie Lambert, Fabio Borini and Mario Balotelli have all struggled this term.
