Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has reportedly stepped up his recovery from a hip injury and could return for the visit to Premier League leaders Manchester City later this month.
The 26-year-old, who was sidelined for the majority of last season, has been out of action since early October.
Sturridge is yet to play for the Reds under Jurgen Klopp - who replaced Brendan Rodgers last month - and the German admitted his concern over his forward's latest setback.
However, the former City man is confident of being passed fit for when Liverpool make the visit to Eastlands on November 21, according to The Mirror.
Klopp's men, who lost 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday, sit 10th in the table.
