Martin Skrtel, Joe Allen and Adam Lallana could all return for Liverpool in Sunday's Capital One Cup final against Manchester City.
Midfielders Allen and Lallana have not featured since February 6 because of calf and hamstring problems, while centre-back Skrtel has been out since mid-December with a hamstring problem of his own.
The trio might find it hard to earn a place in Jurgen Klopp's starting XI given their lack of recent match fitness, and Dejan Lovren is also pushing for inclusion having made his return to training this week.
The aforementioned quartet's return to fitness means that Joe Gomez and Danny Ings - both out with ACL ruptures - are the only remaining senior players out injured for Liverpool.
