Brendan Rodgers has said that Chelsea will be highly motivated to beat Liverpool in their League Cup semi-final, due to their shock FA Cup exit at the weekend.
The Blues were left stunned as Bradford City came from behind to claim a 4-2 victory at Stamford Bridge, and Rodgers is wary of the impact that result will have ahead of their meeting on Tuesday evening.
"The result at the weekend doesn't help - they will have great motivation," BBC Sport quotes Rodgers as saying. "When you come off a game like that, you want to put it right.
"There is also that, in the back of your mind, even if you're up in the game - like they were, 2-0 - you can still lose the game. So I'm sure there'll be that wee bit of trepidation."
Liverpool and Chelsea shared a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their semi-final last week.
