The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Liverpool eye possible reinforcements.
Jurgen Klopp's league leaders have not been particularly busy during recent windows, but that has not stopped the rumour mill from linking them with additions.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Anfield.
Sunday morning's Liverpool transfer talk news roundup:
Zenit St Petersburg 'lining up £9m bid for Liverpool's Dejan Lovren'
Zenit St Petersburg are reportedly lining up a £9m bid for Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren when the transfer window reopens.
The 31-year-old's contract at Anfield expires next summer, although Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp recently talked up his importance and hinted that the club would trigger a one-year extension for the Croatian.
Despite that, the Premier League champions are understood to be willing to listen to offers for Lovren, and the Daily Mail reports that Zenit are preparing a £9m bid.
The Russian outfit are thought to view Lovren as a replacement for former Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
However, Liverpool are expected to knock back their opening bid as they value the centre-back at closer to £15m, rejecting a £13m approach from Roma last summer.
Part of the reasoning behind Liverpool's price tag is to help fund a replacement, with Klopp expected to dip into the market for defensive reinforcements should anyone leave.
Lovren has fallen behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in the pecking order, but has still made 15 appearances across all competitions this season.
Jadon Sancho refuses to rule out Premier League move amid Manchester United link
Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has refused to rule out the possibility of leaving for the Premier League this summer amid continued links with Manchester United.
The Red Devils have long been tipped to move for the 20-year-old when the transfer window reopens, having seen him enjoy another hugely productive campaign with Dortmund.
Recent reports suggest that United are close to agreeing a deal for the England international which could be worth more than £100m, and Sancho has now refused to rule out such a move.
When questioned over the speculation surrounding his future, Sancho told World Soccer Magazine: "I don't know what to say to that.
"It's hard to say. That's the future. You never know what could happen, so we will wait and see."
Sancho, who has also been linked with Liverpool, has scored 20 goals and assisted 20 more in 44 appearances for Dortmund this season.
