Lille loan star Joe Cole has reiterated his desire to represent Team Great Britain at the Olympics in the summer.
The 30-year-old, on loan in France from Liverpool, has insisted that his London roots make the Olympic Games that bit more special.
"The Olympic Games in London are very important to me as I am a pure Londoner. A lot of the competition will be in East London where I started my career," Cole told reporters.
Cole has 56 English caps to his name.
