Defender Daniel Agger does not believe that thoughts of the FA Cup semi-final with Everton will be on the Liverpool players' minds until after their game with Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday evening.
Following the 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at Anfield, the Reds have taken only five points from a possible 27 in the Premier League.
Having already won the Carling Cup and sitting 16 points short of the Champions League places in the Premier League table, there had been suggestions that Kenny Dalglish would prioritise the Wembley tie over the remaining league fixtures. However, Agger has explained that this is not the case.
"I don't think next weekend's game is in our heads now," he said.
"We play Blackburn on Tuesday and we have to do a bit better if we want a result there.
"When you play for a club like this it doesn't matter if there is a trophy or not, there is always a lot to play for."
Liverpool have not won at Ewood Park since 2008.
