Former Liverpool striker John Aldridge feels that the club missed Andy Carroll in Sunday's 0-0 draw with West Ham United in the Premier League.
The Reds were held at Anfield by Sam Allardyce's men, and Aldridge thought that Carroll, who is currently on loan at the Hammers, could have been the difference between a draw and a win for the home side.
"As obvious and easy as it is to say, the Reds could have really done with Andy Carroll in the last 10 or 15 minutes at Anfield on Sunday," Aldridge wrote in his column in the Liverpool Echo.
"I don't know what [Brendan Rodgers's] plans are but imagine starting next season with our four forward players being Daniel Sturridge, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Carroll."
The England international was ineligible for the trip back to his parent club due to the terms of his loan deal.
