Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen has expressed his delight at earning a starting a spot, but believes that the club have enough quality to rotate the team.
The Welshman was added to manager Brendan Rodgers's first XI against Norwich City due to the absence of Jordan Henderson, who is serving a three-match ban.
Allen and his teammates guided the Reds to their 11th consecutive win by beating Norwich City 3-2 at Carrow Road on Sunday.
"It was great to start a game," Allen told the club's official website. "Jordan has been incredible all season, he's been a machine.
"But the beauty of this squad is that we've got great players that can come in and the team performance doesn't suffer. It was great to have an opportunity to start the game and be part of a winning performance."
Liverpool are now five points clear at the top of the Premier League table with three games left to play.
