England boss Gareth Southgate has handed a call-up to Fulham goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli for the nation's fixtures with Spain and Switzerland.
Bettinelli started the season out of the reckoning at the Cottagers, but the 26-year-old has since returned to impress in the club's last two outings in the top flight.
That has resulted in the one-cap former England Under-21 international being given the opportunity to link up with the Three Lions ahead of the upcoming double-header.
However, there is disappointment for Liverpool's Adam Lallana, who has been forced to withdraw from the group due to a groin problem.
The playmaker had been hoping to make an impact having missed the World Cup due to a lack of match fitness, but the 30-year-old has now returned to his club to be further assessed.
Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling also pulled out of the squad on Monday.
