Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp with reportedly be without his right-hand man for his first match in charge.
Assistant coach Zeljko Buvac, who hails from Bosnia, is unable to join up with the Reds in time for their visit to Tottenham Hotspur because he is still waiting for a work permit, according to The Mirror.
Buvac has worked with Klopp since they were players together at Mainz in the early 1990s, going on to serve as his assistant when he became the team's manager and later following him to Borussia Dortmund.
Klopp's other assistant, Peter Krawietz, is said to have met Liverpool's non-international players and taken part in a training session with them.
