Liverpool full-back Jose Enrique believes that the Reds will continue to fight for fourth place but understands that the Merseyside club need to be "realistic" about their chances.
The Carling Cup winners have dropped ten points below the coveted Champions League spot, with as many games left to go until the close of the Premier League season.
"We have to be realistic about the Champions League and we are 10 points behind so it is going to be really hard," said Enrique. "But we are still trying because the league hasn't finished yet.
"I know Champions League [qualification] is so difficult but there are still many points to play for and if we play like we did against Everton you never know."
Liverpool switch their attention to the FA Cup this weekend as they prepare to take on Stoke City in the quarter-finals of the domestic competition.
