Midfielder Marko Grujic has said that he has gained confidence from how he has started his career at Liverpool.
Grujic has been limited to just 12 minutes in the Premier League since leaving Red Star Belgrade, but after impressive outings against Chelsea and Barcelona in pre-season, the Serbian is hopeful of making a successful transition into England's top flight.
He is quoted by Eurosport as saying: "Pre-season went very well for me, but that's just pre-season and now I need to adapt fully to the Premier League.
"But I've seen that I can work nicely with my teammates, even against strong teams like Chelsea [in pre-season] for example, and that's what gives me confidence that I can do big things with Liverpool."
The highlight of Grujic's pre-season came when he netted Liverpool's final goal in their 4-0 victory over Barcelona at Wembley Stadium.
