Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has expressed his belief that the Reds can get more points on the board in the coming weeks following their victory over West Bromwich Albion.
The Merseyside outfit ended a winless run of three matches by securing a 2-1 victory over the Baggies at Anfield on Saturday.
Henderson scored the winning goal of the game, while Adam Lallana netted his first Liverpool goal prior to Saido Berahino's equalising penalty.
"It was an important one as we needed to win the game," the Daily Star quotes Henderson as saying. "To score at the time we did and defend that and win the game was very good.
"It was important to get back to winning games and I thought we showed good character to go on and win the game. Hopefully, we can kick on now."
After the international break, Liverpool, who are ninth in the Premier League table, will take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road on October 19.
