Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has said that Divock Origi is in the perfect place to continue his development.
Origi has struggled for first-team opportunities this season, but after replacing the injured Philippe Coutinho he has scored in five successive matches to establish himself as a regular in Jurgen Klopp's starting lineup.
It remains to be seen whether the Belgian will stay in the team when Coutinho returns at the turn of the year, but Henderson has claimed that the attacker is in the right environment after describing his contribution this season as "brilliant".
The 26-year-old told the Liverpool Echo: "I think he's learning a lot from the manager and the coaching staff here. For me, there is no better place in the world for him to be. This is the perfect place for him to learn, improve and get better. The same goes for all of us as players.
"Divock has been brilliant. He might not have got as much game time as he would have liked over the first few months of this season. But he stayed patient and worked hard. He was training well and just quietly waiting to get his chance.
"Now he's been given it, he's coming up with the goods. He's produced some really good performances and just needs to carry that on."
Origi has scored 17 goals in 50 matches for Liverpool but over half of his appearances have come from the substitutes' bench.
