Jordan Henderson has praised the recent form of his Liverpool teammate Daniel Sturridge.
The striker, who joined the Reds from Chelsea in January, has scored six Premier League goals so far this season and has also found the net twice in the Capital One Cup.
"Daniel's always been a confident lad, but now he's been given the opportunity to play as a striker every week in the Premier League and I think he has benefited from that," midfielder Henderson told the club's official website.
"He's come here and the manager has put great confidence and belief in him. And he's shown what he can do and can give back.
"His form is outstanding and he's improving all the time with his awareness, his touch and his finishing. He's got the lot really."
Sturridge has scored a total of 19 times from his 25 outings for Liverpool.
