Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has claimed that Kolo Toure's mistake in their 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Sunday won't force the team to re-evaluate their principles.
The Reds have a defined gameplan to play it out from the back under Brendan Rodgers, and Henderson insists that they won't be abandoning their tactics despite Toure passing the ball straight to Victor Anichebe for the equalising goal.
He told BBC Sport: "He's made a mistake, but he's been fantastic for us since he's been here.
"He's held his hands up, but he was trying to play football, starting from the back, and that's what we're trying to achieve here, we'll carry on like that."
Rodgers's side are currently fourth in the Premier League.
