England manager Roy Hodgson will reportedly rest some of Liverpool's first-team stars from the upcoming international break.
The 67-year-old, who managed Liverpool for a short spell back in 2010, will name his squad later today for a Euro 2016 qualifier against Lithuania on March 27 and a friendly against Italy four days later.
According to The Mirror, Hodgson is considering resting Daniel Sturridge, who missed five months of the season with injuries, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana, both of whom have played in most of the Reds' 47 games so far in the campaign.
Raheem Sterling, who was removed from the England squad for a game last year because of tiredness, is also a doubt due to a knock and could be left out of the squad entirely.
Only Tottenham Hotspur have played more games than Liverpool this season.
