Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino reportedly has no plans to omit Hugo Lloris from his side despite the goalkeeper's admission to a drink-driving charge this afternoon.
The Spurs skipper pleaded guilty to driving while more than two times over the legal limit, resulting in a £50,000 fine and a 20-month ban from driving.
Tottenham themselves are also expected to hand Lloris a hefty fine for the incident, but the Daily Mail reports that Pochettino will not leave him out of the starting lineup for this Saturday's Premier League clash with Liverpool.
Lloris featured in the match immediately after being arrested for the incident, although he missed the last game before the international break - as well as being forced to pull out of the France squad - due to a thigh injury.
The World Cup-winning captain is hopeful of being fit in time for Saturday lunchtime's kickoff, and should he recover then it is understood that he will be thrown straight back into the team at Wembley.
Lloris is also expected to keep hold of the captain's armband despite the guilty plea.
