Liverpool manager Arne Slot could welcome no fewer than three players back to his squad for Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester United at Anfield.
The Reds boss revealed in his pre-game press conference that Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley are both due to return to team training on Friday, a few weeks on from sustaining respective knee and hamstring injuries in the Champions League win over Real Madrid in late November.
Dominik Szoboszlai is also back from the yellow-card ban he served in the 5-0 triumph at West Ham United on December 29, but Joe Gomez suffered a hamstring problem in that game and is out for a few weeks.
Konate would be a natural replacement for Gomez at the back, but having not played for over a month, the Frenchman might have to accept a spot on the bench as Jarell Quansah partners Virgil van Dijk.
The rest of the Reds' backline should remain unchanged, as Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold - apparently now the subject of a first offer from Real Madrid - also shield Alisson Becker.
Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister are midfield shoo-ins too, and Slot may just side with a well-rested Szoboszlai over Curtis Jones, even though the Englishman provided an assist in the decimation of West Ham.
Diogo Jota could hardly be doing more to force his way into the XI as well, but Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo should continue to work in tandem with Mohamed Salah, whose 12 goals and six assists in Premier League games against Man United is the most ever by a single player.
Liverpool possible starting lineup:
Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Diaz
