Danny Ings has described his first goal for Liverpool as a "massive moment" in his career.
The 22-year-old opened his account for Merseysiders when he scored in the 88th minute of their 2-0 pre-season win over Adelaide United.
Ings told the club's official website: "It was a massive moment for me because moving to a new club can take a little while to settle in.
"I felt in previous games I've been lashing at chances but I took that well.
"When you come to a club like Liverpool, the sheer size of it is a big deal and I'm just delighted I can get my first goal and hopefully the first of many."
Ings joined the Reds from Burnley earlier this month, although the tribunal fee for the transfer has yet to be agreed.
