Danny Ings has said that he is hoping to learn from a returning Daniel Sturridge at Liverpool this term.
Sturridge spent the pre-season campaign recovering from a hip injury in Boston and has played no part in any of the Reds' fixtures so far in the Premier League.
However, the England international is nearing a return to fitness, and Ings, who signed from Burnley in the summer, is looking to improve alongside the ex-Chelsea man.
Ings told the club's official website: "He's a fantastic striker, he scores so many goals, he's sharp, he works hard, so it will be great to have him back.
"He's another player I can learn from - he's been doing it at the top level for many years now so it's great to have him back and I'm looking forward to working with him."
Liverpool travel to Manchester United after the international break, although Sturridge will reportedly miss the visit to Old Trafford.
