Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has labelled Diogo Jota "outstanding" following the Reds' comfortable 2-0 success over Burnley at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers man was once again given the nod up top following his strike against Norwich City last week and opened the scoring in gameweek two with a header from Kostas Tsimikas's cross.
Sadio Mane also opened his account for the new season in front of a full house on Merseyside, but when quizzed on the impact that Jota made, Henderson did not hold back his admiration for the Portuguese.
The Liverpool captain told BT Sport after the game: "He has got the magic touch. In and around the box he is lively, he manages to make the right runs, and when he is in front of goal he normally scores. He has been outstanding since he has come back and hopefully he can continue."
Liverpool have risen to the top of the Premier League table following their win over Sean Dyche's men and now gear up for next week's visit of Chelsea on Saturday.
