Jurgen Klopp's agent has insisted that the German will not become Bayern Munich's new head coach at the end of the 2023-24 campaign.
Thomas Tuchel's time as manager at Allianz Arena will come to an end this summer, with both parties deciding to part ways once the current season has concluded.
Klopp is leaving Liverpool this summer, meanwhile, and there have been suggestions that the 56-year-old could be in the frame to replace Tuchel.
However, Marc Kosicke, who is Klopp's agent, has insisted that the current Liverpool head coach will have 12 months off work once this season has finished.
"Jurgen Klopp will not coach any club or national team for a year after this current season. That remains unchanged," Kosicke confirmed to Sky Deutschland.
Klopp started his professional career with Mainz 05 in Germany, spending seven years in charge before making the move to Borussia Dortmund, where he enjoyed huge success.
The manager won two Bundesliga titles, one German Cup and two German Super Cups during his time at BVB, in addition to reaching the Champions League final in 2012-13.
Klopp then moved to Liverpool in October 2015, and he has won the Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup during his time at Anfield.
Bayern are facing ending this season without a trophy, as they eight points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen, while they trail Lazio 1-0 in their last-16 Champions League contest.
Klopp will not be moving to Allianz Arena this summer, though, with Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso said to be the club's number one target.
The Spaniard is also wanted by Liverpool as Klopp's replacement, while Barcelona will be another major European club in the market for a new manager this summer, as Xavi prepares to step down.
There have been claims that Klopp will take the Germany job when he returns to football, but a recent report claimed that he instead has his eyes on either the Real Madrid or Barcelona position.
Real Madrid currently have Carlo Ancelotti at the helm, with the Italian recently handed a new contract until June 2026, so it is difficult to imagine that position being open next summer. body check tags ::
