Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has claimed that it "felt like Christmas" when his team scored their second of the afternoon in Saturday's 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the Premier League.
The Reds entered the clash at Anfield off the back of a 4-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.
Klopp was delighted that his team returned to winning ways on Saturday, however, with the German paying tribute to his players following the three-goal success.
"Three goals, three points, clean sheet. Tottenham was the worst game we played in the season and you can't ignore it. It can happen," Klopp told BBC Sport.
"The first goal against Huddersfield we forced the situation. The second one after a set-piece felt like Christmas. We had a lot of good set-pieces today. The third one was nice play. Big relief."
Liverpool will now switch their attention to the Champions League as they prepare to welcome Maribor to Anfield on Wednesday night.
