Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has suggested that Roberto Firmino will feature in his squad for the EFL Cup clash at Derby County.
Firmino missed the club's 2-1 win away at Chelsea with a groin injury but the Brazilian attacker could be in for an instant return when Liverpool make the trip to the East Midlands.
The 49-year-old told reporters: "The medical department told me he could have played against Chelsea, but I have heard the word risk too often so I decided no.
"I was very happy that it worked out. They told me if I gave him three days he would be perfect so today is the fourth day."
Firmino has scored three times in five appearances in all competitions this season.
