Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has claimed that Pep Guardiola's move to Manchester City will boost the Premier League.
The 45-year-old Spaniard has been officially announced as Manuel Pellegrini's successor at the Etihad Stadium.
The former Barcelona boss, who is currently in charge of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, will take charge of City at the end of the season.
"For sure he's one of the best managers in the world," Klopp told reporters in Monday's press conference. "He's had two big big clubs and now he will do his job at Manchester City. Man City has another manager. That's all.
"Pep, winning nearly everything in Germany, everything in Spain, now he wants to win in England. I think it's good for the Premier League."
Guardiola has agreed a three-year deal with City.
