Liverpool players have shown their support to teammate Luis Suarez by warming up for their match against Wigan Athletic this evening wearing t-shirts with his face and name printed on.
The Uruguayan has been handed an eight-match suspension for racially abusing Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, something that Suarez has denied.
The Liverpool squad issued a statement earlier today admitting that they were 'shocked and angered' by the verdict.
Despite the ban, he is allowed to feature against Wigan Athletic this evening and has been selected in the starting lineup by manager Kenny Dalglish.
Suarez and the club have 14 days to decide whether or not they will appeal the decision.
