Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has expressed his delight in taking part in training this week as the Brazilian steps up his return to action.
The 25-year-old has been sidelined for the Reds since August after picking up a thigh injury during Liverpool's 2-2 draw with Manchester City at Anfield.
"Happy to be back and feeling good," Lucas tweeted. "Just get some more training session and I hope I will be available soon."
Lucas missed the majority of last season with a cruciate ligament injury.
